I have training and experience in crop protection and conservation in agriculture. Addition to this, I have vast experience in phytosanitary standards including Pest Risk Analysis for market access and food security. Currently, I work with the Plantwise Initiative which aims to improve small scale farmers access to agricultural extension services, I coordinate knowledge and information development, content access and using information technology to package information and deliver the same in most reliable and user friendly tools. Using the plant health data collected, information gaps are identified on real issues farmers and extension encounter in agricultural production system, linking with other stakeholders in agricultural information technology and advisory services, more information is developed and made accessible to users.
